Welcome

Hello and welcome to the Colorado Farm Bureau website. I am Alan Foutz, President of the Colorado Farm Bureau. I farm in Washington County in the northeast corner of the state and grow wheat, sunflowers, and millet. Colorado Farm Bureau is Colorado's largest farm and ranch organization with membership that represents production agriculture in Colorado. Our purpose is to be a free, independent, non-governmental organization to analyze problems and formulate action to achieve educational improvement, economic opportunity, and social advancement in order to promote the national well being of our members.

Farm Bureau serves agriculture, rural Colorado, and others who have similar interests and goals. We are the "Voice of Agriculture in Colorado".

As the agriculture industry faces new challenges in the future, Farm Bureau will be there to assist our members in meeting those challenges. We will be involved in lobbying in county, state and national issues. We will be there to discuss issues of profitability, property rights, water, trade, farm policy, tax issues, environmental issues and many more. We will also offer value to our members by making products and services available to our members at discounted rates.

I hope you enjoy the web site. Thank you for spending some time with us.
